Background on Recess Practitioner Brown Bag Events: In the past, Recess has put together workshops open and led by different Recess practitioners. Each month is focused on a skill or current issue relevant to the wellness community. We are expanding these events to create broader professional development opportunities for Portland's wellness services community. Our intent is to generate open discussion and support surrounding challenges that practitioners encounter in their work, and to create a network of professional wellness service providers.

We plan and carry out events with integrity in reflection of our core philosophy and values. As such, we strongly discourage solicitation, sales or promotion of any supplements, products and the like. This forum is to give service professionals the opportunity to network and seek continued education and development.
